What to do after your book goes up on Amazon

1) add tags to your book

*on the book's Amazon page, choose keywords that people would use in searching for your book, click the "add" button
*choose tags with high searches but little competition
*have people go and "Agree with these tags"

2) set up an Amazon Author Central Page
* go to https://authorcentral.amazon.com/gp/home 
to set up an account and "claim your book"

Once your page goes live, be sure to add an author photo, and RSS feeds from your blogs, your twitter account, videos, events, and an author bio

SPECIAL NOTE: how to set up an RSS feed:
On the bottom of a blog, click "Subscribe to Posts: Atom" on the next window, copy the URL (it might look like: http://myrddinpublishing/feeds/posts/default )

3) set up a Goodreads Author Page

*go to www.goodreads.com and create a regular account
*search for your book (it may take a week or so to show up on goodreads after it is live on Amazon)
*click your name link on the book page, which will take you to an unfinished author page
*on the bottom of the page click "Is this you? Let us know"

*It will take a day or two to process your request, afterwards add pictures, blog feeds, videos, discussions, and author quotes to your page once it's live
